A primary alkanolamine that behaves as both an amine and an alcohol. In Kanpur it goes into detergents and soaps, in Noida into electronics cleaning formulations, and at the Mathura refinery into gas treating. It is the highest-volume product in the ethanolamine family.
A volatile tertiary amine. Agra's foundries blow it through sand cores as the catalyst gas in the cold-box process, and pharma units in Greater Noida and Lucknow use it as an acid scavenger in synthesis.
A ring amine whose volatility is close to water, so it spreads evenly through steam and condensate. That makes it a standard choice for the boilers of UP's sugar mills, distilleries and paper plants, which run hard through the crushing season.
A hybrid of ethylenediamine and ethanolamine, with a primary amine, a secondary amine and a hydroxyl group. Detergent, softener and textile auxiliary makers in Kanpur and Varanasi use it to build imidazoline surfactants and chelating agents.
A waxy, long-chain primary amine. It lays a thin water-repelling film on metal, which is why power and process plants use it as a filming amine, and fertiliser plants in Gorakhpur, Prayagraj and Kanpur use it to stop granules from caking.
A linear polyamine with four nitrogens. It cures epoxy resins at room temperature, which makes it a common hardener for potting compounds, floorings and adhesives, and it is a raw material for polyamide resins and paper wet-strength chemistry used by mills in Muzaffarnagar and Saharanpur.
Two benzene rings joined by a nitrogen. It traps the free radicals that make rubber and oil age, so it is the backbone of many antioxidants used by rubber goods makers in Ghaziabad, Meerut and Agra and by lubricant blenders.
A mild tertiary amine built on the morpholine ring. Footwear and foam makers in Agra use it as a polyurethane catalyst, and pharma chemists use it as the base in peptide coupling and mixed-anhydride reactions.
